DeLand Yoga Fest

Intro to Restorative Yoga is a gentle, all-levels introduction to the practice of deep rest. This is not a movement-based class, but a meditative practice of stillness designed to help the body feel safe and supported, and to quiet chatter in the mind. Using blankets, bolsters, and other props, we'll create relaxing yoga poses that allow the nervous system to soften and reset. We’ll begin with a hands-on exploration of what Restorative Yoga is and how to use props intentionally, prioritize comfort and work with your body and breath to deepen relaxation.
